Exclusions

• Presence of pre-existing medical condition or a resulting complication before the commencement of the policy.
• Medical expenses incurred after the expiry of policy tenure
• Medical complications due to attempted suicide or self-inflicted injury.
• Psychological disorders like anxiety/ nervousness/ stress that have no underlying physical condition.
• Treatment related to venereal diseases, drug abuse or alcoholism.
• If you are involved in manual labour which is of hazardous nature or engaged in an illegal or criminal activity.
• Self-exposure to needless peril unless in an attempt to save the life of a fellow human.
• If opting for treatment using alternate or experimental methods that have not been clinically recognized.
• Some form of medicine other than modern medicine or Allopathy is used for treatment.
• Cost of appliances like hearing aid, spectacles etc. that are used either for diagnosis or treatment.
• Medical expenses incurred owing to complications arising out of pregnancy like childbirth, abortion etc.
• Delay of baggage is not covered while coming back to India.
• There is loss or damage to your passport owing to its confiscation or detention by the police, customs, military or any other government authority.
• If you fail to report your loss within 24 hours of its discovery and thereafter fail to obtain an official report of the same.
• If you lose your belongings because of your failure to take the necessary steps to safeguard them.
